Hola,
I haven’t always been a leafy green–‘Baby Rocket’ was my original derby name that didn’t last very long at all. My team, ‘Sunstate Roller Derby’, didn’t think it suited me so they opted to call me Spinach. It’s ok, they even bought my uniform with ‘Spinach’ on it. From then on, it was clear I would have to live my derby life out as ‘Spinach’.
I learnt to skate with Sunstate Roller Derby in 2014 and in 2015 I made the charter for Div 1. Playoffs (Dallas) as a jammer/blocker. I continued on to the next year (solely as a jammer) for Div 1. Playoffs in Montreal. I recently made the final charter for the Australian team in the Roller Derby World Cup 2018. It’s only early days so I can’t wait for my next adventure!
