Ordering

STEAKS account registration

By registering an account with STEAKS, you will be able to view and manage your orders. You will also be able to store your billing and shipping address on our secure server, which will make checking out quicker and simpler.

Guest checkout

You can also checkout as a guest. This means that you don’t have to create an account with us (but you totally should).

All payments are due upon receipt. If a payment is not received or payment method is declined, the buyer forfeits the ownership of any items purchased. If no payment is received, no items will be shipped or production started.

We accept different payment methods, depending on your location:

Paypal, Credit Cards (via Stripe), IBAN transactions (wire transfer)

You can select your preferred payment option during checkout.

Prices on product pages are displayed with 24% VAT within Europe. As the VAT does not apply outside of Europe, we have stripped it from the total for customers outside of the EU. However, additional costs such as customs broker fees, customs or import taxes may apply for customers outside of the EU. These costs cannot be influenced by STEAKS and are payable by the customer.

If you are using an Online Coupon or Promotional Code you will have to add this code during checkout in the coupon code area. If your code enables free shipping, this option will automatically be selected. Please double-check and select free shipping yourself if this is not the case. Discounts will automatically be calculated and deducted from your cart total. Codes cannot be stacked or combined in any way.

You will receive an email to confirm that we have received your order. If you have a problem processing your payment online or are not certain if your payment was successful, please contact steaks (@) steakswear.com.

You will receive another email as soon as your order is shipped. Since we send out STEAKS orders as parcels, this email will also include your tracking number. Use the tracking number to follow your STEAKS parcel’s trip, find out when it will arrive and arrange alternative pick-up options.

Order process time

Your order will be processed as soon as payment has been received. If a payment is not received or the payment method is declined, you will forfeit the ownership of any items purchased. If no payment is received, the order will not be processed, no items shipped or production started.

In-stock products are usually processed and shipped within 5 business days. Shipping duration will be 1-9 days, depending on your location and your selected shipping option.

All made to order / custom items are available for purchase and will be made in Finland on demand. If you order a made to order / custom item we will give you an expected shipping time at checkout or in a follow-up email. General production time for made to order and custom products varies but normally takes about 4 weeks. If workload is high production time can take up to 6 weeks. We will do our best to keep the delivery time shorter than that! Production time starts after all potential questions have been answered and payment has been made in full. Shipping duration will be 1-9 days, depending on your location and your selected shipping option.

Group orders will be sent out as soon as all items of the order has been completed.

This means:

  • All group order items are in-stock: order will be processed within 5 working days. Shipping duration will be 1-9 days, depending on your location and your selected shipping option.
  • Group order contains a backordered, made to order or custom item: general production time for backordered or custom products varies but normally takes about 4-6 weeks. We will do our best to keep the delivery time shorter than that! Shipping duration will be 1-9 days, depending on your location and your selected shipping option.

Planning and production will take roughly 8 weeks depending on a few factors:

#1 Planning and sampling – 1-8 weeks

The planning and sampling phase depends on if you already have a design and what type of sample option you choose.

Planning & design – 1-2 weeks:
  • You deliver the design: if your design is ready and can be sent in vector format a – 1 week
  • With STEAKS design service: if you commission us to design your custom team uniforms – 2 weeks

Tips to speed up planning: Be prepared! Know your team’s measurements, their individual wishes (desired styles and modifications) & have their name and numbers ready to fill out the order form.

Sampling – 2-6 weeks:
  • Designed fitting sample: printed and sewn jersey in selected sample size – 6 weeks
  • Miniature print sample: print sample on fabric – 2 weeks
#2 Production & Delivery – 8 weeks

Production will take 8 weeks (on new and follow-up orders) and will start after you have placed and paid your finalised order.

 

Cancellation

Stock item (on sale or not) & Gift Card purchases may be cancelled without explanation within 14 days. In this case, the item(s) must be returned in good condition. Upon arrival of the returned items, the cost will be refunded in full via Paypal. Gift Cards will be cancelled immediately after a request to cancel the order, the cost will be refunded in full via Paypal. Please include Paypal details when returning the item(s) or cancelling your Gift Card order. If you wish to be refunded via bank transfer you must add your bank details. All returned items must not have been used and/or have no traces of use. If this is the case the order cancellation can be invalidated. The shipping costs of the returned product are to be paid by the customer.

To cancel your order please send a message to steaks (at) steakswear.com. Please remember to add the number of your order, which you will find in the order confirmation email.

As made to order and custom items are made on demand (made to order) and to fit (custom bottoms) they cannot be cancelled after they have gone into production or if they have been shipped. If you have complaints about your made to order or custom order or if your order does not fit properly, please contact steaks (at) steakswear.com and view our our refund and exchange policy.

If your order was placed using a coupon code from Group Order Specials a cancellation of the order will result in the entire order being cancelled. Individual items cannot be taken off the order during checkout or after the order has been placed and payment has been processed.

As team uniforms are made to fit they cannot be cancelled after their final approval for production. If you have complaints about your team uniforms or if your team uniforms do not fit properly, please contact teamorders (at) steakswear.com and view our refund and exchange policy.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, either online or at events, for any reason, including limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies, errors in product or pricing information, security concerns, or inappropriate customer conduct. If your order is cancelled after your credit card (or other payment account) has been charged, we will be in contact to either refund via Paypal or bank transfer. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order.
